With the current circumstances, we hope you’re doing what you can to enjoy a little down time, catch up with friends/loved ones and maybe even pick up a new hobby / side project.

Watch the talks from our Hey! Learning event –
Last month we hosted our first joint event with Hey! ‘Why learning doesn’t stop when you graduate’ at Belgrave Music Hall. If you didn’t manage to make it down or would like to watch the talks again, feel free to view them online here: youtube.com/user/heystacevents/videos.
Unfortunately, we had to postpone our event on the 20th of March which was themed ‘Purpose over Profit’. Our six fantastic speakers are still enthusiastic and ready to tell their stories, so when we’re able to, we’ll be re-running this event to showcase their brilliant work and initiatives.

Local businesses are going through an unprecedented time of uncertainty right now and could use your help! To remain connected and support our incredible community in Leeds, we have decided to launch two new initiatives. The first of which, SupportYourLocalLeeds.com, gives you a selection of options to purchase online products or gift cards for a whole range of different independents in the region. You can also find initiatives to volunteer with your neighbours and even contribute to the good news page! Have a favourite indie? It’s incredibly easy to add submissions so feel to add to the resource and share with your networks.

Become a Leeds Digital Maker –
Bored of scrolling through Netflix/Disney+/Amazon Prime yet?For all you out there with ideas you feel the world needs, we’ve also launched LeedsDigitalMakers.club! It’s a close-knit group to help connect local indie makers and founders, creating a digital space to chat, discuss ideas and support one another from our own homes. We had our first session on Friday, with a few beers in hand, true Founders style. We share the projects everyone is working on, where we can offer help and advice and then plan out the next two weeks. Keen to get involved? Click here to join the list and see how you can help others, stay creative and stay connected.
