Monthly Event Summary - April

What a month April is going to be, clocks have changed, Easter bank holiday weekend, Leeds Digital Festival and of course some more fun filled evenings with the Leeds Digital Drinks crowd.As always if you want to know more about any of the events then head over to the events calendar on our website for full details.There's so much to say so with let's get right down to it.

That's right - since Friday is a day off, we're moving Leeds Digital Drinks one day earlier so you can blow off some steam and gather with your favourite tech, creative and digital crew for some "pew pew"-ing, laughs and of course DRINKS!We're crashing Laser Zone in Cardigan Fields in Leeds (just 10 minutes from the City Centre down Kirkstall Road) and MOD Pizza for a back to back retro party bash before the Easter Long Weekend! Here's what you need to know: 5:45pm - Meet in Leeds City Centre (Queens Hotel) for anyone who wants to share a taxi to Laser Zone6:15pm - Gather at Laser Zone in Cardigan Fields We'll split into teams, choose punny code names, and play 2-3 games (more info on their website)7:30pm - Now that we've worked up an appeitite, MOD Pizza is right next door so we can celebrate and chow down on some delicious foodSound good? Nah, not just good, it's gonna be LEGEN- wait for it -DARY!

We've teamed up with some of the top search brands in Leeds including Branded3, Home, Blueclaw and Epiphany for the 'Leeds Loves Search' SEO Conference.As part of Leeds Digital Festival come along to hear from some of the leading names in Search and find out the latest trends and insights. Founders Friday 'Extended', a specialist edition version as part of the Leeds Digital Festival.

From 12-midday onwards we will be offering 1-2-1 mentor sessions with some of the top tech Founders, investors and advisors from across the North. You will need to tell us a bit about you and your company so we can match you up to suitable mentors.

In the evening, there will be 5 or 6 interesting digital focused speakers (5 minute quick-fire talk each) and you’ll have the opportunity meet like minded people and decision makers from tech, creative and digital businesses. There’s also free beer, popcorn and refreshments.

Finally at 7pm the party continues at one of Leeds' many fantastic local bars and we can continue some of the great conversations from the day late into the night.
